I got to meet a sweet couple the other day that live very close to me.  They were both in the military and are now expecting their first baby.  The babies gender is going to be a surprise so I can't wait to hear the news when it is born.  Here are some photos from their maternity session.

Kehne & Ashley's Engagement

This really should have been done months ago, but oh well!  Kehne is my husband's nephew and he is marrying Ashley on Friday night.  Yep the engagement pictures on Monday and the wedding on Friday!  I think everything will come together for this young couple.  We went to Hurricane Schoals Park in Maysville, Ga to do the shoot which made me very happy because I have been dying to take someone's picture there.  We even managed to squeeze in a family portrait at the end with their son Kohen, so cute!  Well here they are, enjoy!

Presley Family

I met the Presley family about a year ago when they where getting married.  I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph there sweet wedding.  It was one of the most down to earth and loving weddings I have ever been to.  Gary and Heather have a three year old daughter Georgia and a month ago Heather gave birth to another baby girl Teagan Michelle.  I am so impressed by this little family, Heather and Gary may be young but they are raising two sweet and beautiful girls.  Here are some photos from our newborn session with Teagan, and some of Georgia and the family too.  Enjoy!

 

Emma's 2nd Birthday

I had the pleasure of photographing Emma's 1st birthday, and now I got do her 2nd birthday.  Boy time does fly!  She didn't want to sit down and eat her own cake, but I had fun following her around inside and out.  Enjoy!

Maternity photographs

I just got back from a trip to Richmond,VA to visit my family.  While I was up there I got the chance to take some pictures of my niece who just happens to be 8 1/2 months pregnant.  I wanted to share some on here.  Looking forward to meeting baby Page.  Enjoy!

Photographing Birthday Parties

I have photographed a few birthday parties and it is so much fun.  It is a really big help for the parents because they have so many other things to worry about.  I would really love to do this more but I wasn't sure if people knew this was even an option.  Most people don't think about having a photographer at their child's birthday party but when they look back they realize they didn't get to take pictures of all the important moments.  I like to do mostly candid shots but it is nice to have a few set ups with Grandma & Grandpa and the family too.  Please contact me if you are in interested in having a birthday party photographed.
